2021 Limited DVD Player Not Working. My 2021 Limited Ford Explorer came with headrest DVD player. It worked for a bit, but then one day the player would not eject the DVD, the screen went blank, and the buttons flash red. I can hear the DVD spinning around inside the player but nothing else happens.
Enter the diagnostic mode by pressing and holding preset buttons 3 and 6 simultaneously. This will suspend all radio functions, and display SP. Preset Button 1 = Audio internal/external SELF TEST. The display will flash SELF while gathering the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), then stop flashing when complete.

Mine is aftermarket and im sure it differs from yours but try (with a helper) disconnecting its power supply then while pressing the eject button re-connect the power. If that doesnt work look for a "pin hole" near the DVD drive access door. Unfold a paperclip and insert into the hole GENTLY.
